Real-world vehicle emissions measurement — instantaneous O₂, CO, CO₂, NO, NO₂, NOx and HC during on-road driving, test tracks or chassis dynamometer cycles. Integrated GPS and automatic reports.
The NAPRO SEMS is installed directly on the vehicle and continuously measures exhaust gas emissions during driving under real traffic conditions — on public roads, development tracks or dynamometer cycles. The system uses data from the engine ECU to estimate total exhaust gas mass, eliminating complex flow measurement systems and producing results comparable to those obtained with PEMS equipment.
The integrated GPS records the route driven and collects vehicle performance data in real time. Instantaneous emissions and total and distance-averaged values are displayed on the connected laptop and consolidated into a complete report at the end of the test.
Assessment of actual emission behaviour during driving under different traffic conditions and usage profiles.
Emissions measurement during chassis dynamometer cycles as a complement to bench analysers.
Used in research centres and educational institutions for real-world emissions studies and powertrain technology development.
Validation of aftertreatment systems, engine control strategies and emission reduction technologies under real operating conditions.
