NAPRO® Eletrônica Industrial Ltda was founded in 1987 by a group of engineers and specialists with expertise in research and development of new measurement techniques and process automation.
The first projects focused on gas and pollutant analysis in motor vehicles and, later, on vehicle diagnostic equipment for electronic fuel injection, ABS, airbags and other electronic systems.
NAPRO was the first company to develop gas analyzers specially designed for measurement in ethanol-powered vehicles (1987), with more than 2,500 analyzers sold in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Venezuela.
In 1998, it began manufacturing the PC SCAN NAPRO® On-Board Electronics Diagnostic System, the first PC-controlled vehicle diagnostic equipment in Brazil. In 2024 it launched the VCI PRO 2K interface, compatible with Windows and Android, and in 2025 its newest interface VCI MAX, with more than 25,000 scanners sold and a presence in more than 25% of independent workshops in Brazil.
In 2002, NAPRO was a pioneer in the manufacture of Vehicle Inspection Lines in Brazil: Roller Brake Tester, Suspension Test, Alignment Test and Steering and Suspension Play Detector.
Throughout its history, it has established technology partnerships with American and European companies, such as Dasibi (USA, 1990), Pierburg (Germany, 1993), FEV (Germany, 2003) and SEMTECH-Sensors (2010), becoming their representative and distributor for Latin America.
NAPRO is certified under the quality standard ISO 9001:2015.

Vehicle Diagnostics — Scanner
Manufacturer of the PC-SCAN since 1998, the first PC-controlled vehicle scanner in Brazil. The current VCI MAX interface runs on Windows and Android, with broad coverage of domestic and imported vehicles. More than 25,000 units sold in Brazil and South America.

Complete equipment for evaporative and exhaust emissions testing: SHED Chambers (Standard, Motorcycle, Mini and Micro), Aldehyde Collection Benches, Canister and Fuel Conditioners, SEMS Real-Traffic Measurement System and EV 90 Leak Test.
Vehicle Inspection
