Hydraulic servo-controlled platform for systematic detection of plays in steering, suspension and transmission components — integrated with the GIVE system for automatic sequencing in the vehicle inspection programme.
The BDF-4500 play detector uses a hydraulic servo-controlled platform that applies controlled forces in multiple directions — horizontal (transverse and longitudinal), vertical and combined — to provoke plays and failures in undercarriage components that could not be detected by a simple visual inspection.
The operator visually inspects the components while the platform applies the forces, identifying plays, impacts and looseness in joints, bearings, tie rods, stabiliser bars and other parts of the steering, suspension and transmission systems. The result is recorded in the GIVE inspection report.
Detection of plays in tie rods, steering gear, ball joints and steering column.
Identification of wear in shock absorbers, bushings, springs and stabiliser bar links.
Inspection of plays in CV joints, propeller shafts, rubber couplings and bearings.
The play detector is part of the complete NAPRO vehicle inspection line. Talk to our team for a customised project.
